Garo The One Who Shines in the Darkness 22 - Master
And then there was one. This week we say goodbye to the second of Tousei's generals: Rivera. Considering how we devoted almost all of last week to Enhou, I was a little surprised at how quickly Rivera was dispatched, but she was never the main villain so I can live with it. Besides, the main focus of this episode was really on Burai's plans to stop Zedom. It's very obviously his last hurrah, but he looks to be going out in style.
Takeru finally gets his new hand here, as well as a moment with his love interest. She's still a high school student. It's still creepy. Finally, and most importantly, the moment we've all been hoping would come has finally arrived: the good ending song is back! :D |
Madou Horrors will only be tough when they have the requiem playing in the back (as Zaruba mentioned earlier).
With Ryuga's mom gone, and Rian isn't singing anything Rivera has nothing to give her a boost. |
Man I love Tousei, its so weird to see such a snivelling worm as the "main" bad guy. So Takeru's hand, is it just a shapeshifting fist?
Next week's episode looks to be continuing the Sonshi/Makai Knight face-off tradition of mostly being one massive fight scene. I have no objections. |
