We've had Crustaceans (Kani/Crab and Ebi/Shrimp under the Black Cores), as well as the Scorpion, the 3rd Black Core, for arachnids.

The white cores had a Primate, and the Red cores handled birds (I know you listed it as "Small birds", but considering one of the Red cores is "Peacock", I don't think there's any one theme to the Red cores beyond "Birds" as a whole), while "Forest animals" and "Nocturnal animals" are incredibly vague and doesn't define much.

I also think Mythological creatures don't fit in OOO's universe.

I think the purple cores are supposed to be both extinct and mythological animals since Dr.Maki did make a unicorn yummy.

I created my own combonation a while back, now let's see if I remember it.

Human Disguise: A slender twenty year old woman, with fiery red hair to her ankles and a love of rock candy. Brilliant teal/green eyes. Wearing an opened full length coat with just a bra beneath, and long baggy black pants.
Story: Mori is odd for a Greeed. She wants nothing to do with being complete. Instead, she collects the Cores to regain the power of the Wood.. and once more cover the world in beautiful green. Even if she has to decimate humanity in the process.
