New Listings for Power Rangers Super Megaforce in Target Walmart &Toys'R'Us Computers
4 Attachment(s)
Let it be known that if you ever need to find something in a database relating to Power Rangers toys, then TokuNation.com member raz is the man you want to pay attention to. Only days after our two different interviews with Bandai of America at NYCC 2013, raz dug up a ton of information in the computers of both Target and Toys'R'Us.
Included in this news post are the images from the Target screens. We've also copied a number of his discoveries in the second post of this thread - including a number of items that relate to everything from Wild Force to Samurai toy-wise. Check it! Thanks to raz for being so devoted to getting the information! |

Prince Veker. That's an awefully good name for War Gills, better than Gills :lol

While it's nice to see so many figures in the works, I have to wonder how many of these will be available at retail. I'm also not a fan of the size/scale switch. Especially since some 4" figures are being made, but with little articulation.
If I see them at retail, there's a couple of figures I'll probably get. X Borg just for the name (even though I have no idea who/what that is), at least one of the MMPR figures (depending on whether or not I get the armored might white & green figures), the silver dude with the trident (even though my plans for a team of mix&match Rangers is killed by the size/scale change), and maybe the Lightspeed Rescue red Ranger (last PR show I watched before Megaforce). |

I hope this 4" - 5" news on the front page is a typo and that it is the 5" figures that will feature less articulation and fewer paint apps.
I only started buying Power Ranger toys again when I saw the Jungle Fury figures and the accompanying Legends figures. They didn't look like they were on steroids and the articulation was great. RPM figures were smaller and slightly less articulated, but still not absurdly muscly, so I bought those, too. Even though the MMPR figures had RPM-ish articulation and were 4", MU and DCIE were 4" scale, and these were the MMPR, so BoA won me over on the scale switch. I've been happy with the 4"-scaled PR figures since. If BoA shafts the 4" line for a 5" line again, I think I'm just done. Figuarts are about 5" and a million times better than any 5" retail figure BoA could come up with. Having really enjoyed the 4" figures though, I hope they continue the line as they are. BoA's 4" figures are already $9.99, so I don't know how they could release an equivalent 5" figure for $7.99... ? |
It could've been worded better, but the main figure toy line for Super Megaforce IS 5". This is where there are 36 planned figures. Keyword: planned.
This is Target's price. TRU has these 5" figures listed at $9.99. There are 5 planned 4" figures on the side, which likely have less articulation. |
