Custom painted Green Ranger Gashapons and SHF MMPR Green Ranger
 

WARNING PICS HEAVY!!

So I worked on two custom gifts for JDF when I met him earlier in the year at the Niagara Falls Comic Con 2013, which was back in June and at the Montreal Comic Con 2013, which was back in September.

These two gifts were Green Ranger related items that was hand-painted by me.

Firstly the HD Alpha Gokaiger Wave 2 Dragon Ranger Gashapon


I didn't like the paint on the gashapon, so I primed it and got to work on painting it and detailing it to a better state. This was the result!

I gave this to JDF at Niagara Falls Comic Con 2013. He was amazed at the detail and paint-work that went into it...I couldn't ask for a better reaction.

And Lastly, SHF MMPR Green Ranger (Silver Helmet version)

I repainted the helmet and morpher/buckler of the SHF MMPR Green Ranger with silver. This represents the version of the Green Ranger in Dino Thunder and Super Megaforce. The reason for doing this is because JDF probably had a few of the SHF MMPR Green's, but he didn't have THIS version :D;).

I gave this to JDF at Montreal Comic Con 2013. He remembered me from Niagara Falls and was again amazed at the detailing and my thoughtfulness. He put me on the spot and filmed me!!! >_<! (Refer to the video at the bottom of the post)

That's a very crative idea with the silver details, great work on both.

I cried when I saw the footage.

I knew I was being recorded when he pulled out his iPad mini...but I didn't think I'd actually MAKE it.

He is one of the most down to earth people I have ever met. He took the time to sign everything I brought from home and even talk to me and my buddy. I was the first in line on Saturday and it amazed him that I brought "all this cool stuff" (quoted from him LOL). My experience was literally 30 minutes. I kid you not. I literally apologized and so did JDF to the crowd/line behind me.

Freaking amazing work man.

JDF's got the only SHF version of the Dino Thunder/Super Megaforce Green Ranger. :D

Have you worked on any other PR customs besides what you've posted in this thread? Glad JDF enjoyed your custom works. They look great!

That was very nice of you to give it away. It looks great. I almost like this better than the OG release.
