buying a pr toy before the show debuts
 

has anyone bought a pr toy before the show started? if so what season/toys did you get?

Samurai... Watched all of Shinkenger then bought the entire Samurai line because of it! :D

Stuff from the very first series since I was already a fan of Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger. Needless to say I was shocked and disappointed in PW but it was nice to get some of the Japanese toys somewhat easily and cheap.

I can't say that I have honestly. I've never owned a Power Ranger or Super Sentai mech.

That's right, you read it correctly. Never.

I tend to stick to the Figuarts side of things, though Kyoryuger mechs are growing on me quite a bit lately. Especially with how cheap some of them are on mandarake. SO TEMPTING.

I got a Samurai Megazord the day they hit retail, which I'm pretty sure was a few weeks before the show aired. There was no way that I could afford Shinken-Oh, so I mostly got it for the Shinkenger design.
Same sort of story with getting the Legendary Morpher recently. I was pretty set on grabbing it as soon as I found it.

Kinda, I got the Mega Earth Ranger before Samurai started here, but I'm sure it had already started in other countries.

what about in mmpr-wildforce days?

Not that I can think of, unless you count MMPR 2010. Now if I find the new morpher, I probably will get that before Super Megaforce.

Legendary Megazord, unless I'm way out of the loop and somehow Super Megaforce has started without my knowledge.
