New scans of Hyper Hobby have some images of the two new Garo projects. Seems the pages are of the meet the cast kind, but I can't be sure without a translation.

I'm not sure what it is, but there's something that just looks off about Kouga's son in his old coat. It's like his neck somehow completely vanishes.

Think it's the hairdo. It doesn't look good on this actor.

So what am I looking at? A scan for the Zero spin off and a scan for the 4th Garo?

I know I'm in the minority when I say this but... I'd rather not have a repeat of the first season. Looking at the main guy? Yeah. Not looking good.

Hey, don't look at me like that! I just prefer my franchise as repeat free as possible. The moment writers start trying to "recapture the magic"... yeeesh.

Well, he is Kouga and Kaoru's son, so some visual similarity is to be expected.

I dunno how to feel, I really don't. I feel like GARO gradually got worse with each season, but each season also introduced or did certain things better than anything came before it which meant that no season was ever a complete write off, but the first season was still as good as it got.

So hopefully if the new series can implement everything it has learnt, while returning to the basics that made the first GARO the masterpiece it is, then I can really get behind that. But I must admit, just taking the scans at face value, it looks like a bad cosplay.

Any anime info yet?
