Rider designs that you feel where wasted on their Rider?
 

Essentially, is there some Rider designs that you feel were undeniably awesome, but were given to, more or less, crappy users?

I think the primary offender is Kamen Rider Gai. I didn't realize how awesome Gai's design was until I got the SHF. It's seriously one great looking design and I really appreciate it in certain poses. I kinda like it for the same reason I dig Tiger's. Black and silver is a classic color combination that's hard to mess up to me, even with the addition of other accents (in Tiger's case, blue, in Gai's case, red). But I actually enjoyed Tiger as a Rider as well. Satoru was just freakin' nuts with a chronic traitor disorder and I genuinely enjoyed seeing him literally backstab everyone because of his utterly insane logic.

When I see either of those designs, I imagine an honorable knight who probably realizes that what he's doing is wrong, but believes that the ends justify the means. Or something else that's just as self-loathing.

Except Gai was at best, a troll, and at worse, some idiot kid. I mean, I get that that was the whole point of his character but couldn't you have given him Scissors' design or something? Hell, I think Verde would be an awesome design for that type of character with the yoyo and how goofy his Final Vent is and c'mon...Verde just looks like the type of guy to troll you.

Imperor, also from Ryuki. I love how it's designed, but he's a one note nobody that serves so little to the plot it's embarrassing. It's less that he's a bad character, and more that he's completely no one, which could arguably be worse...

Knight. Looks so cool, wasted on a angsty prick.

Kiva. HARD-FUCKING-CORE, wasted on a whiney little baby-face.

Ooo, that's another one. His introduction made him seem so awesome but then you realize that at the time he was introduced, he was pretty useless and probably the worst fighter of the remaining Riders. I mean, Mitsuru seemed more like a plot device to remind us why being a Rider sucks rather than a full-fledged character.

But I think that's just a product of how Ryuki is. I mean, you have 10 Riders show up throughout the show and 3 of them were worthless...

Me too. I honestly wish that it just stuck with Yaguruma. Not that Kick Hopper is a bad design, in fact, it's pretty awesome, but there wasn't really any reason for it to exist...made even worse by the fact that nobody knows how Yaguruma got his hands on the KickHopper Zecter. At least people know where TheBee Zecter came from...

God - where the hell do you even start with this?

I think my number one choice would be Meteor, even without the Bruce Lee with planets business, his design is really unique, fresh and awesome. But I honestly don't remember a single thing about Ryusei. And when the design of the Rider, and the way they fight, is ultimately more memorable than the character themselves. There is a problem there.

Can't agree on this one; Ryusei was probably my favorite character from Fourze.

About the only thing I remember about Ryusei is after he was introduced the show decided to try and have a plot and swiftly crashed and burned.
