Hey Power Rangers fans! As you know, next season (2013) will be the 20th Anniversary of our favorite colored spandex heroes! It was recently revealed that the title to next year's show will be Power Rangers Megaforce! But the question remains - which Super Sentai series is being adapted for Power Rangers Megaforce?

We know that casting for the next series of Power Rangers was put on a sudden hold to re-evaluate plans to celebrate the 20th Anniversary. We know that TOEI re-shot scenes of the Legendary War to feature only Super Sentai teams that were adapted by Saban and Disney. Casting has started again and from casting scripts, there's talk of Legendary Rangers and Megaforce ... but also talks of a Silver Ranger. Is that GoseiKnight or GokaiSilver?

the thought of "Legendary Rangers" sounds like it'd fit more with the Goseigers, as their costumes are more gold and regal than the Gokaigers, but as the 20th Anniversary, the Gokaigers SHOULD be Mega Force, even though it's a shit name

A lot of people have said that the male script we've seen (with a Silver Ranger having lost his morpher and meets a Legendary Ranger) is an episode of Gokaiger where Gai meets DaiRanger Red. In Power Rangers, there was talk of using DaiRanger footage but calling them "Legendary Rangers" ... so a lot of people have written that off.

But I think they may actually call the Goseigers "Legendary Rangers". They may pull off an SPD A-Squad/B-Squad if they can combine both adaptions.

I would really hate to "lose" a series just to get the anniversary series on time. However I agree if a sacrifice has to be made, Gosieger would be easier to shoehorn in, or rather who says we can't have more than one ranger team at a time. As much as I love Gokiager's design, I simply feel that Gosieger's outfits really invoke MMPR.

Silver Ranger could be Gosei Knight. Just because the audition script said Silver, doesn't mean Silver from Gokaiger.
