(Fan-Series) Sentō Tantei Ningyō Marionetta
 

Or 戦闘探偵人形Marionetta, or in English: Combat Detective Puppet Marionetta. A new idea I have, it revolves around the story of Mari Nonoka, a 17 year old high school girl who was murdered and had her body modified to be a human sized ventriloquist dummy. Reactivated by Shinjou "Sensei" Iseki, she joins his detective agency to help find out who did such a thing to her.

Characters planned so far/been drawn-
Mari Nonoka/Marionetta- The main character, 17 years old, she was a murder victim whose body was modified to be a human sized puppet. Revived by Shinjou, she joins his detective agency to find out what happened to her while she goes back to high school. She has multiple weapons built within her body and can mimic the voice of whoever sticks their hand in her back. Mari still needs to eat and sleep, indicating that the process could be reversed and she could become human again. Her body has segmented joints and her joints are connected by balljoints, a running gag is one of her limbs popping off and a nearby animal/child taking it away

Shinjou Iseki/Sensei- The male main character, age unknown, Shinjou uses his alias “Sensei” to investigate the school where Mari was killed. He is a detective and has a detective agency that consists of many odd life forms. He’s a normal human being, so he wears a bullet proof vest and uses a gun. As Sensei, he’s a flirt and charismatic around his students, leading to them being jealous of Mari due to how “close” they are. He revived Mari and helped her figure out her abilities.

Oscar/ESPer- 6 years old, Oscar was found and adopted by Shinjou shortly after Mari joins the agency. Oscar was named before Shinjou found out that Oscar was actually a girl. Her powers are tragic- she gains them once she dies and revives. Her powers are related to how she died- so far she has flight (from falling), fire control (burning alive), breathe under water (drowned), telekinesis (crushed under objects), telepathy (shocked while speaking on the phone). She calls Shinjou “Papa” and soon after calls Mari “Mama.” A running gag is that she’ll ask Shinjou to play and he’ll say he’ll make her a sibling, thus she runs to Mari, grabs her hand and drags her to Shinjou, asking them both to make her a little sibling.

I have the opening theme planned out- it starts off in a toy shop and pans to Marionetta as she opens her eyes >_<

So is she sort of like a taxidermy? Because the fact you don't specify wether or not she's made of wood is unsettling...

And a puppet made of flesh is creepy as fuck.

Marionneta is made from synthetic material to simulate her skin and body. She still has her eyes and some of her internal organs due to not being "finished" when Shinjou found her

Can't help but get an Edward Scissorhands vibe from that last sentence. :lol
