Is it too late to paint if you've applied the stickers?
I have the Minipla Super DaiBouken and I'm annoyed by the occasional peeling stickers and that said stickers make me not want to touch it at all.
Is it possible to remove the stickers and then paint the model or have I crossed some sort of event horizon where I'm stuck with a stickered construction robot? For that matter, is a painted Minipla Super DaiBouken even possible due to all the minute details on Super DaiBouken? |
Of course not!
The worst stickers can do is leave behind the residue, but that does no damage and there's tons of guides to removing the residue itself. However, I'm sure you know that the moment you start painting you can't turn back without an annoying amount of work (And the stickers will likely be destroyed due to fragility), so beware. |
Heh, I really need to crack down on my own Super Daibouken. If only my Cyan worked...

Warm soapy water usually helps remove stickers, and won't damage the toy.

I'm just worried that I ruined the opportunity to paint by applying all the stickers with the numbers and Boukenger compass logos and other tiny little details you can't really paint.

You can paint any detail~
Just don't rush and be careful. |
