Those of you with a PS3, PSHome installed, and 2 bucks to spare, can now dress as four different Ultramen I learned tonight. Ultraman, Ultraman Ace, Ultraman Seven, and Ultraman Taro!

If I didn't already know it was a Chaiyo plot, that would have been a major tip that it was.

They're in the 360 avatar store as well,along with shirts and hats.They even have a mini monster.(sadly forgot the name)

Yea avatars on Xbox are not as good as full size game people that you can walk about in a cosplay

Here's the Xbox Avatar stuff. He's Ultraman Seven there as well. Hrmm.

I will not hash out the entire long story over here, but the Cliffnotes version is that Tsuburaya has had a long-standing dispute with Chaiyo over international rights to the Ultraman franchise, which many people believe to be fraudulent but has held up to a certain degree in court. Chaiyo, not Tsuburaya, is the company that licensed the various Ultraman characters and the 360 Gomess pet.

And one of the frequent quirks of Chaiyo is listing Ultraseven (his actual name) as Ultraman Seven.

Ah. Um.. Don't hate me but I'm still buying them :lol

It's fine. There's always other reasons to hate.
