Maybe it's to make that Green Ranger movie that they've been talking about for years?

If we get a new Ranger movie that's an adaptation of of 199 heroes, that'd be cool. Make it the Super Final Ranger war and introduce the Ranger keys not used in the series.

If this ends up being something, and not another tease like Power Rider (Thanks Saban, thanks a heap ton), I hope it'll be a return to the original Power Rangers movie. An original story, with an original villain (Ivan Ooze, better than Zedd), with maybe even original Zords. Which'd be nice.

If it turns out to be this Green Ranger movie? Yea, I think I'll be skipping it. I'd rather see something new and original instead of that.

Well for the time being all that thing is is a way to distribute Independent Movies in the US. Nothing about Saban doing their own movies.

Imagine if the struck a deal to release subbed/dubbed Super Sentai DVDs of the Power Rangers seasons Saban doesn't want to acknowledge!:lol

Please don't pick apart the above, it's SUPPOSED to be a stupid idea that will never happen.

Any kind of film should be multiple films. One to explain a Dairanger adaptation, and thanks to a Super Megaforce blunder, a Flashman and Maskman adaptation. The Dairanger thing is easy to understand, but the others would require a little effort. My thinking is that you could make some new footage appear a little older or with more grain to pair with old 80s Sentai footage. Both Sentai teams had movie specials that would be good for this and any thing Toei has done to release them in HD quality would help. Movie versions would explain the Yellow Mask/Pink Flash cameos, pad Saban's bank account with toy sales, and if you don't like 20+ year old Sentai footage in America, then do new comic books. Now this is all speculation (and wishful thinking). If this is the Green Ranger movie, well, what's the point since we're getting the Legacy Dragonzord? If they do it, then I strongly suggest that, A: it be within established continuity, and B: it include new and old villains like Scorpina.

Ah…but what if it wasn't JDF playing the Green Ranger? :lol

You mean like a Kamen Rider the first/next reboot? JDF wouldn't allow that LOL.
