This is a perfect alternative for those, like me, who are unable to afford a complete set of the S.H. Figuarts Mighty Morphin Rangers.

Yeah, I don't really understand the point of making them all look like they belong in the WWE. Even when I was a kid and buying them that frustrated me.

I think this was Bandai's overall general idea. Don't forget that the Power Rangers are technically superheroes, so Bandai made these so they look like your typical superhero.

Typically as in inaccurate? I just don't get the point of toys like this that so clearly aren't good representations of who they're supposed to be.

Comic book art where characters roid out is one thing and that physique carries over to comic toys. The rangers are traditionally not big and beefy in show footage, so to make toys that are seems to be counter intuitive.

These look like the ridiculous over-roided superheroes of 90s comics.
