Bandai Japan vs Asia DX Kabuto Belt
 

Can someone please tell me what the physical (besides the obvious circle shape for Asia) and usage differences (sounds, lights, etc.) are, if any between the Bandai Japan dx kabuto belt and Bandai Asia.

I think for it, it's just the box difference. Only Henshin item I've ever heard of having a difference than the original Japanese release is the Mobirates, which had the Legend Mobirates Electronics. I think you're good if you get the Bandai Asia one

Didn't the Asian Double Driver have re-recorded sounds?

You're thinking the Korean Double Driver. Bandai of Asia has just box differences or some small changes. Korean Driver toys have had rerecorded toys since Double, but seem to have stuck with the Japanese release for their FourzeDriver.

OK, thank you. Is there normally a big price difference between the versions (all things being equal)? I'm finding that the Asia release is pretty expensive and that the Japan release is getting cheaper.

Weird, usually it's the other way around :lol. From what my cousin sent me one time, the Bandai Of Asia Decadriver (which she unfortunately was unable to get for me before my mom came back to the US >_<) was 2180 PHP, which is roughly $49 USD. Compare that to original Japan release of the Decadriver, I'd say that's a significant difference in cost. So it's possible that just as the years go on, prices change. Since BOAsia is sometimes released after the series ends, it's cheaper then, but since the Complete Selection for Kabuto is out now, it could just be that collectors are selling them back to shops at a lower price and that's why you see them as lower.

That makes sense. I'm finding that the new Complete Selection is around the same price or more than the good condition Japan originals.

I hear that the Complete is sized for adults. Can it also be resized for kids to wear, meaning the same small size waists like the original version.
