Very sad. Unfortunately it appears we will end up losing a lot of the great people from the early days. The problem with growing up. :(

Oh... just yesterday I watched Godzilla vs Destoroyah again and nearly cried during the end, and now I read this and feel like crying again. Rest in peace Kawakita, your work gave me great joy and fun since I was a child. I thank you for everything you did to create my favorite Godzilla movies.
