Godzilla (2014) Spit Fire ver. will be released as a web exclusive this July for 8,100 yen. Bluefin will probably release him sometime in August. Looks like this figure will come with a dead MUTO head as well :).

So basically 2014 MA with blue dorsal plates and effect part?

Pretty much. I miss out on the last SHMA Godzilla 2014 figure because I hear bad things about it. The paint on the figure looked awful and I can't believe that Tamashii screw up on the red paint on his face. Godzilla's face on that figure look like that he just finish eating a cherry pie :P.

I do hope the paint job on this figure is much better.

And normal eyes without the Kool-Aid snout.

How is it so hard to not put red on a character with no red on him?

Especially when it's the second time around. Seriously this isn't rocket science.

Not that the sculpt is especially accurate. The face is off, noticably the brow is too prounounced.

Also, it's disapointing even in the effect. Godzilla's spines lit up from the tip of his tail all to the back of his neck, and lit up a certain way. This is just typical Goji spine lights, starting just below the back and being totally lit up. And it's really lazy to not include a seperate head with a perma-opened mouth. When he shot fire, his mouth was wide and it came from the back of his throat. This looks more like he's kind of lazily vomitting, or trying to bite the beam. He wasn't a cheap puppet with a hinged mouth, he was an animal with an expressive face.

Monsterarts are supposed to be a higher quality, but it seems like corners were cut and fucks weren't given here.
