Is anyone here a fan of the idol anime Aikatsu? I began watching it a few months ago, and I thought I'd hate it, but it's actually pretty good. It's one of those safe, cutesy anime about girls going to an idol academy and learning to become singers, idols, fashion models, etc. It's not great, but it's definitely not bad. I'm up to episode 11 of season 1 right now, and I plan on watching more of it when I can. It's pretty good so far. Are there any Aikatsu fans here? Feel free to discuss it at your leisure right here!

I've heard of it and tried bringing it up here a while back.

But yes I know Aikatsu, I watched a decent amount but I can't say it's my favorite idol anime or that it would even rank up to my top 5 idol animes I love/like.

Still a cute fun idol show to watch, but when compared to IDOLM@STER or Love Live it dosen't have that depth or level like among other idol shows. Like Any other of Bandai anime it' meant to sell their products within the show to kids, Aikatsu is just like that.

It's official. Sakura and Yurika are my favorite characters.

It has the same concept of precure, and Sentai where it's a kid based show to sell merchandise for Aiktusu case it's about the cards for the Arcade games in Japan.
