Armor Hero
 

Oka, I know I've brought this up before in other threads. But I've found a Chinese Toku series called "Armor Hero". I'm guessing it's their response to Kamen Rider. It's only viewable on YouTube so far. At least that's where I find it.


It's English sub and dub. The dialogue doesn't always match up with the dub. But it's seems okay. The suits aren't bad. And so far there are two complete sets with a rumored third on the way.


The first set is simply called "Armor Hero" and it has 5 warriors, each of them using the same type of morpher. Yes, they use the word morpher in the sub/dub dialogue. Each of the warriors are based off of the 5 Chinese Elements, Earth, Wood, Fire, Water, and Metal (Gold). As well as an animal motif, Tiger (Earth), Eagle (Wood), Dragon (Fire), Rhino (Water), and Mastiff (Metal). Like I said before the dialogue isn't the best in the world, but it's a pretty spiffy series. This set has around 51 episodes.


The second Series s called "Armor Hero XT". I have no idea what the "XT" stands for and I have no idea what the characters are about since I just started it. But so, judging my the design I see in the opening credits ach character has their own specialized morpher. One characters morpher is an MP3 player that changes into his device and another one is his PSP. And judging rom the playlist of X it has 60 episodes.


I would like to get more people into this series. Because, as I said, it's all that bad once you get past the sub/dub errors. It's a nifty little series and I've come to enjoy it. But then again I'm easily amused and entertained as it is. :lol

I've been familiar with this one for a while. Love the Armors, don't love the show.

Yeah, it's kind of a love hate thing. I agree. The armors are the best part. So are some of the weapons they use.

I have known about this but the only one I can find are the English dubs which I personally do not like.

That's all I've been able to find as well. Guess China is keeping the original stuff to themselves..?

I really like the designs of the stuff in Armor Hero Lava.

I love the designs for the series but the first season has a character I really dislike I think his name was Mike.

That fucking awesome! Now if only we could find the ones with the Chinese speech but with subs. Damn. Thanks for that though Smozz.

Is this series story any good? Drive & Ninnin are currently made me not satisfied. I watched the trailer, the armor looks amazing, however the graphic is too much game oritented, Toei's CG is bad but still more realistic.

The story being good is all a matter of opinion. You should go check it yourself.
