Monster Hunter thread
 

I've been meaning to make this thread for awhile but I didn't. Guess I was too busy playing Monster Hunter lol.

I really like this series. I started with vanilla 3 on the Wii and have been following it ever since and the series has greatly shown its muscle since then. It combines addictive grinding with an action formula that never gets stale and is a ton of fun with friends. I love the Monsters, the environments, weapons and armor, music, all of it.

With MH4U shipping a million units in the west, the Monster Hunter train doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon.

Just to start this thread off:

Have you played a Monster Hunter game? And if so, what is your favorite?

What is your favorite Monster?

What is your favorite weapon/armor?

I've played the Original Ps2 monster hunter, Tri and am Currently playing MH4U, and am at 8* missions offline and 4* online if I recall correctly atm
My favorite monster has to be Nerscylla, oddly enough. I love that it is a very mobile monster who uses a lot of status effects
and My favorite weapons are Insect Glaives for their self buffs and versatility, followed by Switch axes and Longswords. And armor? anything with ATK up

Just a heads up to everybody, Monster Hunter Freedom unite is 5 dollars in PSN right now.
