Takaharu trains to unlock the next level of Nintality! Can he actually pull it off??

I think only Takaharu get upgraded. The Red-ger begin now lol.

A very nice episode. While I am a bit disappointed that we seem to get yet another solo update, the episode itself was pretty good and I really love how Takaharu was characterized in this one.
It was great to see how Takaharu, who is clearly not the smartest out of the bunch, admits not only his talents, but also his weakness, but also acknowledges every team member for their talents and flaws and comes to the conclusion that they make each other grow (a thing that also happens a lot in the focus episodes and something I really like about the show in general).
I also liked that even though the Upgrade was insanely strong, the full team worked together to win the fight. Of course, the mecha fight was all Takaharu, but given that the new Otomonin is build apparently for only one person to work with, this is perfectly fine with me.

The end was really cute, with Yoshitaka complimenting his grandchildren and Kinji finally becoming his student- the reactions of the other Ninningers really made it feel like he also became a part of the family :)

I like that the series has progressed this way straight into episode 20. It doesn't feel half done like the ToQ power up did. My only hope is that they're able to expand the Transcend power to all of them, perhaps for their individual final Allies.

It also shows how much this cast gets along by how they all react together in scenes. It makes it even more fun to watch.

I think this is the best upgrade I have seen so far mostly thanks to the effects and how OP it made him but that raises the question if he is this strong at only episode 20 how wild are things going to get.

That power-up introduction was kind of random.

Finally got around to watching this episode. I enjoyed this episode. The power-up and power-up fight scene were awesome. The Lion Ha-Oh fight scene was good too and its theme was awmazing, really had a 'getting you pumped for a mech fight scene' kind of feeling.
