What would you do to make it the best American toku series in history?

For me, what if Rohan's character was rewritten as someone from our time who ends up in the age of knights? He learns that he is a descendant of the warrior Draganda.

I was thinking about a mix of Inuyasha & Spellbinder.

The knights will fight in the past & in the future if Maeve would try to accomplish her rule there.

I would like it Rohan could still be a squire or a knight in training of some sort, and his friend could be a normal guy who is a pickpocket.

I liked how it was set in a medieval world and not in the future.

Still it would be nice if the series went to the Inuyasha route.
