NOTICE - This forum merging with Other Toku Series Discussion
 

When the Godzilla movie started, we tried to increase our coverage of all things Godzilla and even opened a forum for it.

However, discussion in this forum has dropped considerably to the point that leaving it open is simply taking up space. That being said, all Godzilla forums will be merged in to the "Other Toku Series Discussions" forum on August 1st 2015.

That is, unless you all have overwhelming support to keep the forum open!

Understandable. I really seem to be the only one posting in here anymore.

And we appreciate your enthusiasm - unfortunately it would appear that Godzilla isn't a big draw for us. Maybe in the future we can try again :)

Perhaps if Godzilla movies become more commonplace again.

New Toho one coming out next year and new Legendary one in 2018.

I'm not going to undersell how important Godzilla is to the tokusatsu scene; HOWEVER there just isn't enough movies coming out to warrant having a section of the forum dedicated to him.

I feel having this folded into Other Toku might be a better fit for Godzilla.

I agree with everyone else, the lack of movie news (or even tv if possible) is probably the cause for reduced Godzilla discussion.

Unless the Godzilla franchise starts doing regular stuff like the other Toku shows, then yeah.......the discussion for Godzilla related topics will not be high at all
