International Rangers Poll 2 - What color would you prefer an Italian Ranger to be?
 

Well, I did one for an American Ranger, now I will do one for an Italian Ranger. What color would you prefer an Italian Ranger to be?

I personally would prefer an Italian to be the Red Ranger. On my fanfic team (Power Rangers Global Force) the Red Ranger is an Italian male and second-in-command.

I'd got with either white or green. Those being two of Italy's colors. And red, via the poll for America, is America's color.

On my fanfic team the Green Ranger is a Mexican female.

Ok. That's cool. But this isn't your fic. Not trying to sound mean bro. Sorry.

Alright but how exactly is that relevant to the discussion at hand? The question here is what color do WE the OTHER forum members want to see as an Italian ranger. This is not a topic to discuss fan fiction. If you want to say what color you'd choose for the position, that is fine. But after Green gave his opinion you almost made it seem as if his opinion was invalid by saying how it works for that color in your own work of fiction. Not only is this rather rude but due to it not even being for the country at hand makes the post virtually pointless.

It seems with this and the previous poll you never really cared for anybody Else's opinion and would just run one down if it did not match up to your personal idea. That and constantly bring up your fan fiction as a way to somehow justify your pick. This does not make for a good discussion, being well regarded by other members, or lend itself to the topic since all you'll do is promote your own work in a public poll of opinion. And I suspect this will be the case for all the other polls and even topics you create.

Green works pretty well. It is on Italy's flag, and it seems to fit better than white or red.

Red, green, and white just like the flag. (gonna keep that idea going from the last thread).

MPR, I also feel like you start the threads just to promote your fanfic as XW1n5t0nX said. Just post it in the fanfic section instead of starting these threads and responding to people's opinions about how you used the color scheme in your fanfic. It's like you are asking for everyone's opinion, but you don't want it. You just want to shoot them down and promote your fanfic. Just post it in the appropriate section.

Look, I am not really trying to bash other users' opinions, I just am stating what nationality the Green Ranger would be on my fanfic team in response. I have no issue with others' opinions on what color should the Italian Ranger be.

Now see, that's nice and all, but unnecessary to state in this thread. You created it with the intention to ask what color people would pick, right? Yet when someone posts their pick, you responded with what that color means to you. Which you could've said when you made a thread about what color they'd pick for your member that has that color. It's nice of you to create this discussions, but the way you responded to him still bears semblance to disregarding his choice to talk about what you used that color for. It's just like your last thread where you asked people what color they would choose but stated outright "I would want a MALE Pink Ranger," in response to someone else's choice. If you actually want to discuss people's choices, that's fine. If you wanna continue talking about your fanfic/your choices, just put that in the FIRST post instead of responding to people with what you chose for that team.
