As always you can view this episode via live stream on Saturday by heading over to Taima TV. They play other miscellaneous programs up until the live broadcast starts.

Fantastic episode, liked it a lot more than the other crossover.

Yeah they did a good job integrating a guess stare and some good plot, not much story wise was moved forward but this is on the upper end of filler episodes. Also seeing more and more ninjas in the show makes me really think their Grandpa either doesn't know what last means or just took that title to sound cool

tbh, I always thought "Last ninja" always was a shortened version of "Last Line of Defense Ninja" IE the ninja you call when no other ninja can save the day.

Last Ninja is a bit of a silly title.

Anyway, this was a good episode. Jiraiya was very cool and did actually have a reasonable story reason to be there and a metal hero cameo is a very nice nod to the past.

That was awesome episode. Jiraiya is so cool. I wish Yoshi got a bigger part like one of the ninja guys in the suits, but it's okay it was a cameo anyways.

It's probably a weird mis-translation of 究極 (Kyūkyoku, Ultimate). I'm not sure whoever named him at Toei knew the subtle but important distinction between "Last" and "Ultimate" in English.

Actually, I came to this thread solely because I thought they brought back Jiraiya/Ninja Black for an episode :lol
