Ninninger Episode 35- "Kinji In The Yokai Maze" Discussion
Kinji begins suffering horrible side effects of Yokai energy. Can he cure himself or is this the final Party Night?!
As always you can view this episode via live stream on Saturday by heading over to Taima TV. They play other miscellaneous programs up until the live broadcast starts. Live Streams of the Superhero Time block start at 6:30 PM Eastern Standard Time on Saturdays. |
Question, for those of you who are still watching the show that did not enjoy it right away, has it gotten better at all since the 22nd episode?
|
I think it has. King has gotten a ton of development and I have enjoyed it.

I can't wait for next episode! KiNinger Chozetsu for the win! I'm glad Nagi is getting the spotlight. This leaves AoNinger for Chozetsu. I hope the girls get the power up also. I wish Kinji's yokai form was a bull or koi fish to reflect his mecha. Also, it's been weeks since Gekiatsu Dai Oh as appeared and we still don't have Ha Oh Gekiatsu.

This episode feels like it really should have been foreshadowed between the last werewolf one and this one. Seriously, that would have made a great over-arching plot, especially if it was built up until the last arc. But instead it's going to be wasted in a single episode or two. *Sigh* Still, the episode itself was pretty good- some good development for Kinji and Nagi, a decent couple of battles, and Kyuemon came back from his couple of week absence (DId anyone actually believe he was dead for real?)
On the downside... still using Gekaitsu Screech-Oh... |
I've been into Ninninger since the beginning, but I can say that yes -- around episode 27 (even though 28 is one of the worst sentai episodes i've ever seen) the show starts upping the stakes and getting better.

I was very surprised that they returned to the werewolf plot from however-many episodes ago. Pleased, but surprised. At the time, I'd assumed it was a missed opportunity.
