[FAKE] Power Rangers Shuriken
 

According to Collider, after Dino Supercharge, Ninninger will be adapted into Power Rangers Shuriken and it'll be a Netflix exclusive show. You can read it for yourselves here:

Still, "Power Rangers Shuriken" is not a bad name. "Ninja _____" was sort of taken already.

So we need to say this a third time, alright. Collider is not a reliable source for news. They are hardly ever right. The new season of Power Rangers will be on Nick, they signed an extension for the running the show just last year. The next season, ToQger or Ninninger (Please God ToQger), will be announced sometime next year. Probably the same time it's always announced every damned year. This isn't news, it's a rumor. A rumor from a very unreliable source. Also it's old news. This rumor has been going around the website now for what feels like three weeks.

Does this also mean Power Rangers will return to having 1 season with 40 episodes?

Yeah considering Collider has been known to be full of shit, I wouldn't believe this at all.

Man, I wish the Netflix part was true, at least. Then I could actually watch the damn show. :(

They have no source to back things up. Power Rangers going on Netflix could work since they can do one big season again and catch up with Sentai faster. However not everyone has Netflix and that could hurt toy sales. Kids buy the toys by watching the show.

Even if the move to Netflix WAS true (Which it isn't as far as we know), I call shenanigans on Saban announcing an adaptation of the currently-airing Sentai. I'd wager Saban would at least like to be able to see an entire season so they know exactly what they have to work with. They've been caught out by not seeing the whole show before, I reckon they'd rather not do that again if they could avoid it.

Heck, I don't think we'll have any idea what's next until Dino Supercharge is over. That's a year away at least.

Also, assuming the current format is kept, we might not even get a Ninninger adaptation (If they have that choice and skipping Go-Busters was not a one-off thing). They might have a great idea for a ToQger-based show, and by the time that's finished, Jyuouger or whatever will be done.

This was already been proven to be 100% fabricated days ago. Collider is not a credible news source these days. The person feeding them info is the same idiot who made up new names for the Power Rangers Movie characters and mere days later was proven false thanks to the official Power Rangers twitter. This is nothing more than clickbait.
