Takeru's hunt for new Eyecons takes a surprising turn, and the results are out of this world.

I wonder if Ryoma is gonna keep talking. Wouldn't mind it if he did. Having just the one talking Eyecon in Takeru's hoard is kinda funny though (Musashi'll probably start blabbing by next week though).

Necrom Eyecon next week, looks like we may finally learn who the hell he is. And is that Kanon calling Alan "Alan-sama?" Intriguing. We're probably finally going to get some info about the Fukamis' entire adventure. Looking forward to it.

I mostly have to write this off as a really boring episode. The father/son drama was pretty standard and uninspiring, with Takeru not really doing much beyond shouting some cliched junk about dreams. It's a pity, since I liked the idea they went for with the Ryoma Eyecon. Having the heroes actually inhabit people and talk directly to Takeru would have been a much more interesting way to introduce them than the method we did get. It probably also would have taken a lot more episodes, but I liked this and I hope to see it happen more often, even if we only have two or three Eyecons left.

All that said, I'm grading this episode up a mark because of the cute Fourze nod.

It's nice to see the eyecons being more sentient now rather than just being objects. I loved the Fourze reference.

Wow this was a great 2 part episode. Giving the eyecons a special personality really adds to the story in all honesty and this has to be the best episode so far in the series. I hope the next few episodes keep it up till Necrom then it's open season on how they do the plot.

For next episode we are going to see why Specter hasn't used Houdini and Houdini seems pissed. My guess is Houdini is pissed about being a ghost since he spent a great deal of time disproving such things along with the whole spiritualism movement at the time

It would be nice if Makoto interacted with Nobunaga or Tutankhamen as well like Takeru does with Musashi.

Well, Takeru needs to unite with all 15 including Nobu and Tut. Makoto interacting with them wouldn't help that cause at all.

I giggled like a Amanogawa High School schoolgirl at the Fourze reference.

I loved the Fourze reference too. Though the Faiz reference seemingly went unnoticed. Takeru's whole speech about not having a dream but wanting to protect others' dreams is reminiscent of one of Takumi's big speeches from Faiz. That's just awesome that we got 2 references in this episode. =)
