Is it just me or does it kinda look like Kim is aiming at another ranger in the cover with the close up of her helmet? I mean I'm not going to read too far into it, but still.

Yes, that's what it looks like. Also, that image of the pink ranger figure.... so not fair.

If I were to hazard a guess (and I am), I'd say it looks like she's merely doing a pose. Yes you can see what looks like a teammate in the helmet visor, but looking at the angle of the nocked arrow, it looks to me more like it's angled downward, more for show than taking aim. It ~could~ be a shot with the camera tilted slightly downward and a bit above eye level but I'm reminded of the classic pinup poster style of a woman with a gun in hand, aimed straight up and with finger off the trigger.

Also note that, compared to the picture right before it, in the one in question she's apparently looking ~past~ the arrow at the camera instead of looking straight down the shaft as one would when aiming an arrow. The picture before without her helmet on seems to show intent to attack. The one with helmet on is plainly posing for the sake of awesome.

Other thoughts? :)

Some of that cover art is shockingly bad.
