Question about Wizard's Ending (Spoilers)
I'm not clear on a few things as wizard ended.
Some of these are plot points I didn't understand. And some are plot logic questions. I found the Riderwiki not very helpful. If your just going to blow this off because you think it's bad writing. There's no need to post. Wiseman Fueki, lost his daughter got it. He made a phanton inside himself and he made the first Sabbath to get mana and pump it into his daughter. Is this Koyomi his daughters dead body walking about? Or a magic creation? Was the first sabbath to get mana from people, and phantoms were a side effect? or get mana from phantoms? I'm actually not very clear on where the phantoms came from in the show? Are all these phantoms except chimera in the series made from the first sabboth? Were there phantons who could walk around with there own bodies a thing before the sabboth. Chimera was trapped in a belt and we saw no other older phantoms. Did Fueki know about phantoms before the first sabbath? If so. How did he find out about them? Don't seem like something you come across very often, even in a cheesey written story. I don't understand Chimera's hold over Kosuke/Rider Beast. When we first saw chimera explaining the deal. I figured he was placing a curse on Kosuke. But at the end he ran around eating phantoms from the second sabbath, told Kosuke. 'I'm not going to eat you' and left. Doesn't he still need to eat? That seems like a big problem still. Couldn't Kosuke just have dropped the belt an not bothered? I would have been ok even of the explanation was chimera saying 'I lied'. Chimera running around in the second sabbath eating floating phantons. I don't understand. Why were phantons floating above peoples heads. The Kamen Rider Mages: Yuzuru Ijima and Masahiro Yamamoto (The kid mage and the dad mage guys) Why did they help Fueki-wiseman with the second sabboth? Were they mind controlled? They were chained to the pillars during the sabboth. Koyomi guessed she could because she was missing mana, she was able to sense gates, which is a good enough reason. But was Medusa/Misa Inamori a made phantom? Why could she sense gates? Was Gremlin/Sora Takigawa a made phantom? Why was he still himself? As far as I can tell he was like Haruto and all the other phantoms in the sabbath, but didn't turn and didn't over come his sadness. Don't quite...understand the motivations to want to be human again. He he just decided to stay and human form for the rest of his life there's no draw back. I'm not too bend out of shape about this one: What are the ghouls? We get a reason? It's fine if there isn't one for that. Each Rider show needs a foot solider. What's Shigeru Wajima deal? Why can this old man who isn't even a gate. Craft magic rings. Does Fueki have this same skill? I'm going to guess not? Because Fueki came to Shigreu to craft one. Can anyone learn this? He started teaching Shunpei end series end. There have only been 5 wizards all made within this series. What and why would anyone make a magic ring if only wizards can use them. Who else can use them? And if Fueki needed someone to make the stones in the rings. Where did he get all his rings from? The philosopher's stone, was inside Koyomi this whole time, got that. But where did it come from? Why is Haruto's Driver different from all the other wizards? All the Drivers came from Fueki. |
Ok.... let me try to answer these questions.
Apparently there were wizards nd magicians before because they keep calling Beast an "Archetype". So obviously they were around long ago. Fueki got his rings from Waji. That's why he sent Haruto to him. Fueki made the philosophers stone through his own method of magic. He made Haruto's different because (plot wise) he was going to be the only other Wizard. (But then they decided to make others and reverted to Fueki's driver set.) |
Well I think Wizard's story should've been something better than this. I mean there could've been a crossover with that and OOO.

It's been awhile since I watched the show, but I'll try to answer to the best of my recollection. Keep in mind: some of this may also include my own headcanon to justify plot holes.

GreenPsychoRanger and Switchblade. Thank you so much. That didn't answer all my questions but it does cover most of them. Thanks for taking the time. I honestly thought i wasn't going to any replies other that 'wizard sucks' and 'dude it's just a show for kids' and stuff like that. Especially Switchblades lengthy reply. :) |

I'm not quite sure if Medusa and Phoenix lost their human memories or just ignored them (it's been a while), but as long as they have access to it, they might start acting like their human self. I guess it starts out subconciously, like with Phoenix, but can eventually turn into their Phantom personality, as with Gremlin. I think Medusa also still hat some features of Mio, but I do think she wasn't aware of that for the most part. Quote:

Now Takigawa Sora was evil, extremely evil; he was a high-functioning sociopath serial killer, it's hard to be more evil than that. When the Sabbath transformed him into a Phantom, no new personality was born because nothing could have been more monstrous than what he already was. |

But what if there was a Phantom, a good Phantom, who sees his/her Gate using the Sabbath in a suicidal attempt through despair, maybe the Phantom can carry out the desires of its Gate. |
