PJ Masks, a preschool cartoon
I don't know how many of you here have preschool-age children, but my 2-year-old started singing the "Supaaah Senta-iiiii" part of "Hero Getter" when she saw a YouTube clip of the PJ Masks. I think she's onto something. Too bad the cartoon doesn't have a giant robot.
Read about it here and watch two episodes here. |
Looks a lot more traditional super hero judging from the image and the description in the article, but it looks cute, and I enjoy the multi colored thing they got going. Keeps them simple and it makes it easy to see where a kid could get a PR vibe from.
Looks cute, though. Makes me wonder what if Disney ever made that animated Power Rangers show, now :lol |
I was thinking the same thing too, but what differentiates this (slightly) from, say, the Powerpuff Girls are the little "morphers" they wear on the wrist, the fuller commitment to a particular color AND power set, the suits, etc. They even do a roll call of sorts!
