gritty reboot for the US?
 

So in one of those "Jeez I can't sleep moments" last night I was thinking...

SyFy...with all the money they dump into those lousy movies...they could actually do an americanized version of 555!

Really I have it all planned out...they could call it Faiz, The Masked Rider, take two episode scripts and make them into a 45 minute show weekly. Use the Blue Screen tech like they use for Sanctuary...hell for Orphenochs they have a talent pool from the WWE Roster (Mr. J, Eziekiel Jackson, need I say more?) and of course if Saban produces it (since he has the rights now to all KR shows) we could even pull in OLD Power Ranger cast.
Best part is, I have it stretched to 3 seasons, because we can pull what happened AFTER the show to even incorperate Paradise Lost. So yeah, can take some le-way and introduce Leo and the Psyga gear and all...

Just ramblings I admit...but at the same time it COULD be done!
Hell the gear could be updated S.I.C. style and condensed (no "Pointer" just laser sighting on the leg and all)...

I was thinking something similar a few nights ago, but with Rider #1 & #2. Like, trying to do 'The First' but with a US team.

And we could take out the psudo drama BS! :D

I still stand by my prediction that Saban will bring over Kamen Rider Fourze as "Power Rider" ... I've even figured out the names.

Yes, yes please! I need this to become true xD Comet just sounds epic.

Compared to the other series, it is the least hampered by the cultural differences. You can use the basic premise, plus I like how the gear could be taken by others. Main thing is one would just speed up the begining, and then when it towards the end of the series, then the US would take over writing a story that could lead to the Paradise Lost story. Continue with the Orphenoc king, a rise to power, and all that...

Couldn't we do a Double remake, with Shotaro as a gritty, no-nonsense detective? :P
