Redefinition of 6th Rangers/Extra Heroes

With this image I found on the RangerWikia, I find it confusing if this is now the official designation of these Rangers. I know that GekiViolet and GekiChopper are counterparts to Gokai Green and Gokai Pink respectively, AbareKiller is for Gokai Silver, etc but others such as Beet Buster and Stag Buster are much unclear if they are core members, 6th rangers, or extra rangers.

So does this mean the 2 additional rangers on 3 man teams are now 6ths or what? I'm confused...

I want to say that the pre-Gokaiger designations stay the same but what follows is a bit murky. Only Beet Buster and Stag Buster I think have cloudy classifications...

What we tend to consider 6th rangers are dubbed "tsuika senshi" or additional warriors in Japan. Other rangers/heroes after that are "bangai senshi" or extra warriors.

In the case of Beet and Stag I see them as the next exception since Go-on Wings in that the two of them are considered as one. So if Gai ever had to gokai change into Go-busters he probably would go Kamen Rider W with it and merge them together.

Kyoryuger

Thank you for the explanation! I guess Beet and Stag Buster are now considered 6th rangers because of the Super Sentai Hero Getter 2016 footage xD
