New candy toys, Heisei Generations. They're due in June with an MSRP of somewhere between 5,011¥ and 4,640¥. AmiAmi has a box of 8 for 3,900¥ and HLJ has them at 4,176¥. They're pretty nice looking figures. I can't wait to see the painted versions.

Candy Toys? As in like posable? Because, maybe it's just because they're models, these look like statuettes.

It doesn't specify in the listing one way or another. But the old ones weren't poseable, if I recall correctly, so I wouldn't expect these will be either. Most likely it's just one pre-painted figure and some candy per blind box with more tradability than playability.

Ah. Oh well.

HDMs are basically small fixed posed statues.

Candy toys, or shokugan to be exact, are getting better every year it seems. Would not be surprised if they released mini s.i.c. figures under that branch.
