While searching for the Perseus KyuTama, Lucky & his team uncover some surprising secrets about Champs' creator, Doctor Anton.

Surprisingly enjoyable episode. Although Stinger singing opera was a bit random. Might try and catch the subs when they come out.

Well that was... different. Part of me respects the guts it took to make this plot so bizarre, but then part of me feels that the show getting slightly more serious was a huge part of the fun of episodes about Stinger and/or Champ.

Either way there're a few little problems with the writing that bring down my enjoyment of this episode. Why bother involving Garu in this plotline last time if all he gets in its conclusion is one line at the end that doesn't even contribute much? It's like every time the poor guy almost manages to finally get some attention, he gets shoved right back out of the spotlight.

Well, at least Spada is apparently finally getting an episode next week...

Someone's J Pop career is going to keep making him money well past this series.

Every time Lucky shouts "Yosha Lucky", God kills a soul.

Too bad it's only for this episode...

To be fair, he isn't NEARLY as obnoxious as early on. Even had like, 4 episodes in which he didn't say it iirc

It really was an impressive feat that I enjoyed Kyuranger for a couple of weeks now, but that streak is officially broken.

What the hell was this episode? Other than complete garbage? What an awful way to end this part of Champ's story.
