Regarding the 50th anniversary of Kamen Rider.....
 

I can tell that a lot of people around here really don’t like Zi-O. With that in mind, and with Decade also getting similar reception, would anyone here actually look forward for a similar show for the 50th anniversary.

The reason I ask is because Shirakura basically said that the 50th anniversary would be big when someone asked if there would be a showa based rider in Zi-O.

Decade was based on space/alternate dimensions.
Zi-O is based on time.

Unless they go full Gokaiger, I don't see what they can do for the 50th anniversary. Honestly, they should just aim for writing a good series instead of shoehorning in cameos (Gokaiger did both, Zi-O is not too bad).

I was pretty excited for Zi-O but after (10?) episodes or so it felt like a lot of formula and not a lot of story. Lots of cameos and that's about it.

I'll get around to watching the full season at some point, but I guess I'm already looking forward to the next one and hoping it's just a normal season that tells a story.
