S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Ribut revealed!
 

The Malaysian Ultraman, Ultraman Ribut, who was first featured in the animated series "Upin and Ipin" but made the jump to live-action in last years "Ultra Galaxy Fight: New Generation Heroes" joins the S.H.Figuarts line!

The member of the Galaxy Rescue Force is currently on display at Tamashii Nations Tokyo, sadly we don't have any release information at the moment.

Saw this earlier and like... wow, even if he doesn't get released; just this prototype existing is amazing. A Ginga knockoff that got completely rolled into Ultraman's legacy has his own collector's grade figure in some form.

I'm way more interested in Grigio (and Fuuma). Have we seen Figuarts Grigio before? Whatever. Grigio!

Ohhh I can see them making a P-Bandai (if this one's not P-bandai enough) version where he was based on Upin & Ipin's design.

I really like this one! Ribut is my excuse to finally get a Showa-esque Ultraman as he's technically a NG hero within the Tsuburaya canon.

From what I’ve seen in his live-action appearances he’s really awesome, I quite like his shield.

I'm also glad to see Grigio again; I hope she gets relapsed as well. Plus - I still need Fuma, come on with the pre-orders already! :lol

I liked Ribut in Ultra Galaxy Fight! He was strong and definitely needs more backstory. So glad he is appearing in The Absolute Conspiracy.

I'll admit I'm a little surprised Ribut is potentially getting a figuart. I'll be even more surprised if it doesn't end up becoming a web exclusive. But that is a nice looking figure so far and if he does get released outside of some extra hands what else could be come with?

Looking at it now Ribut feels more like he inherited the best design elements from Neos and Great than Ginga though like how Max inherited design elements from Seven and Justice. Regardless good stuff, I always liked Ribut's design. :rock:

If he's exclusive we could get one or two effect pieces too, Ribut used quite a few neat techniques in Ultra Galaxy Fight.
