I guess filming for Z wrapped up so he is given the opportunity? And this is just me assuming but it would be crazy if Toei uses this chance as a means of seeing how he directs their stuff and then next year they hire him for Zenkaiger.

Oh dude does this mean Ultraman-level mecha fights? I'm super down. My favorite aspect of Ryusoulger was friggin KishiryuIh fights.
