Future Rider Prism Draws Tokusatsu
 

Hello! I'm Future Rider Prism, and I draw stuff. People tell me I'm good at it, but I've never really shared anything in a public place like this.

I'll try to stick to posting Tokusatsu related stuff here, but I draw other stuff too, and those might show up at some point. Alot of what I draw right now is Kamen Rider related. I like making up new forms and combinations and stuff.

I feel like I should have more to say before starting, but I guess I shouldn't force it or anything.

I'd like to hear what people have to say about the stuff I show here. But enough with the introductions! Let's get to the art already!

A bit of backstory first (which may or may not happen in most of these posts).

The Build Driver recognizes the Crocodile (used by Kamen Rider Rouge) and Remote Control (used by Kaiser/Remocon Bros.) Fullbottles as a Best Match (ARE YOU READY!?). However, neither of those Fullbottles ever actually showed up in anything, so the form never got used. I thought I would try to figure out what this form would look like if it had been used.

Without further ado, this is Build CrocodiCon!

I gave the Crocodile half a hand and foot like Rouge's, and a retracting crocodile head on the arm. Build can use the jaws to have a vice-like grip on objects and opponents.

The Remocon half has a TV remote on the arm, which can be used to control the movements of nearby machines. The control is limited, since the remote only has buttons for controling a TV/DVD player.

As for the Vortex Finish, I'm not quite sure how it would work. I have a couple of Ideas, though:
A) Build uses the remote's fast forward button on the arm jaws, and rappidly bites the enemy with it.
B) Build grabs an enemy with the arm jaws and holds them in place, then uses the remote to make a nearby vehicle drive into the target.

I guess that's it for right now. If you have anything to say about this, go ahead! And if you don't, you don't have to. I'm not your boss. You can do whatever you want.

Pretty cool! I love the detail of making the Crocodile half look like Rogue, and both the arm weapons sound like they'd make for fun fight scenes.

Personally, I really liked when the Vortex Finishes summoned scientific diagrams, even though it's kinda silly when you think about it. So I'd love to see Build summon a wavelength diagram (to reference how remotes use radio waves) that then splits into a giant pair of jaws to chomp the enemy.

Oh man, that sounds way better than the finishers I came up with! How on Earth did I forget the graphs? I guess I was too busy trying to think of a move that used both powers together. Thanks for the feedback!

The finishers you came up with would still make really cool attacks though!

Hey! I actually made something again!

Kamen Rider Saikou uses Kin no Buki Gin no Buki Wonder Ride Book for his main form, becoming a living sword. But that just makes me ask what would happen if someone else used that book. Here's what I came up with.

Kamen Rider Saber Dragon Sōdai naru Monogatari

Since Saikou's book is a story-type book, it's power shapes the left arm of the form. I based the arm on Saikou's Shadow, but I'm also considering recoloring it to gold to match the look on Saikou's book/sword form. I'm not sure which one I want to go with.

As for what powers this form has, it's not as specific as with some Riders. In adition to Saber's usual fire powers and general sword stuff, he also has Saikou's healing and protective light powers. When Saber henshins into this form, Saikou is remotely transformed into his original sword form and brought to where Saber is. (don't ask where the second Saikou book came from) Since both Riders involved have the same light powers, that light becomes stronger.

Both Kaenken Rekka and sword Saikou have their own finishers, so they would probably just use them together, maybe with extra gold and silver flames added.

Oh, one other thing. Since Saikou can create a Shadow to wield his sword form, using Saikou's Ride Book lets Saber make his own Shadow. This Shadow works a little differently, copying Saber's movements instead of wielding Saikou. Realistically, if this form existed, it would probably just use the same suit as Saikou's for the Shadow, but I thought it would make more sense as a black-colored copy of the form creating the Shadow, so that's what I drew.

I'm not sure if I'm satisfied with the pose on this, but oh well. I'm not starting over now.

This is great stuff, Prism! I love this glimpse of Touma using Yuri's signature book, it looks ace!!

Oh that is really cool! Regarding the colors, I think it would be especially cool if it was either black normally but turned gold after summoning Shadow, or the other way around.

I've been thinking about this since Yuri showed up. Aside from forming his rider/sword form's face, it seems to work like a regular ride book, which is why I thought of this, actually. That's basically how my brain works: "What would happen if...?"

Maybe the arm turning gold is because of the light casting the shadow. Hmm...
