Top 20 Kamen Rider seasons as voted on by 12,000 Japanese Fans
 

For the 50th anniversary of Kamen Rider, yet another survey has gone around asking fans in Japan what their favourite season is! While these results are pretty similar to past polls, this includes every season and is a larger sample size of about 12,000. Some notable changes include Ex-Aid and Fourze shooting up far higher, while Blade and Drive placed lower.

Notably, while the survey does include Showa seasons, absolutely none of them made the list -- as well, of the remaining 22 seasons; neither Ghost nor Saber made it on. It's also good to keep in mind that this was simply asking your absolute favourite and nothing else -- if a sizeable portion of fans' second or third favourite was Drive, Agito or Black; that wouldn't matter to this poll and would not reflect that popularity. With that limitation in mind, this is still a pretty good idea of what seasons are popular and what aren't!

Another couple questions were asked, though didn't get as much response -- favourite overall design, and favourite form. Briefly, the winners of those questions were Tajador and OOO. Happy to see Kuuga and OOO place so high up.

It seems they, Den-O, W, 555 and Build are constant winners these days. In retrospect it's no wonder we're getting Seihou Growing Form with a gun and SHF NinninComic!

Wizard definitely has more Number 1 fans than Saber, Amazons and V3!

Surprised Gaim is a bit lower on the list than I thought it would be, I was thinking top 5. Glad to see one of my other favourites, Build, make the top 5.
It was a very unique show and the characters felt mostly real.

Gaim is one of those seasons that fluctuates a lot on these polls; it could be anywhere between 7 and 15. It's mostly popular in the west

Maybe Ex-Aid's decent popularity will get us more FRSs?

Now I kinda wish we got full results just to know how low Ghost is...

But hey, Kiva made it! Cool! The top contenders really don't surprise me too much. Really another reminder I should just go finish Build already.

It saddens me that Ghost didn't even make the list.

The fact that Wizard somehow beat him is astounding to me.
