The Fast And The Furious
 

With the 10th movie out in May on the big screen what are your thoughts
on all 9 main line movies?

As a whole it was a decent franchise and I saw
all 9 on DVD myself. Each movie was hit or miss
but if watched together it's a good film series.

The pacing is about where this series needs to be
and each movie seemed to set up the next one.

I may watch all 11 together after the last movie
comes out but I'd like to see how they end this.

First one is a decent movie on its own, the two after that feel like the experimental phase, starting with the fourth they went full-on G.I.Joe/Dragon Ball hybrid. :lolol

I remember watching “The Other Guys” and there was a scene where the Rock and Samuel L Jackson jump off a building and crash into the ground and die.

It upset me. No way the Rock could die from jumping off a multistory building and crashing into asphault and concrete!

Then, several years later, Hobbs and Shaw came out and the Rock fell off a skyscraper and crashed into the concrete sidewalk. But this time the movie was realistic and the Rock just got up and walked it off.

What was my point? Oh yeah. Pretty good films. I watched 5 first, and never went back to see the first ones!

Also the Japanese names of the movies are great. I think 8 was called “Destiny of Wild Speed” or something.

But the movie titles are great in Japanese. Thanks for listing them. Incredible stuff there.

Mega Max is good, but Super Combo is the one that actually made me laugh there.

Speaking of funny translations, it is worth noting that in my country the show "Breaking Bad" received a poetic title: "Drowned near the shore."
