DX Onycho Magia Zetsumerise key battery drain
 

I've been experiencing an unusual problem with one of my Progrise keys and I'm wondering if anyone has encountered a similar issue or has any solutions. Specifically, I'm having trouble with the DX Onycho Magia Zetsumerise key. It appears to rapidly drain any batteries I insert into it. Store-bought batteries only last for about an hour or two at most. I recently purchased some higher-quality batteries in bulk, hoping they would solve the problem. Initially, it seemed to work as the key was still functioning hours later. However, when I checked today, it was dead again. I would greatly appreciate any advice or suggestions.
