MMPR: Rita's Rewind Comic Book Adaptation

Zoe Tunnell (Godzilla Valentine's Day Special) is writing a new comic book series based on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind, the side-scrolling action beat 'em up video game developed and published by Digital Eclipse, coming in August 2025 from Boom Studios.

The release will include covers by Tango, Steve Gregson, and James Lawrence.

Also coming from Boom in August: MMPR/TMNT III #1, written by Ryan Parrott, and VR Troopers/Power Rangers Flipbook Facsimile Edition #1, by Fabian Nicieza and Tod Smith, a reprint of the first of the four-issue 1995 series published by Marvel Comics.

Cool.

Surprising, but I am interested.

The game was too retro-looking for me, so I wouldn't mind seeing it adapted in a more appealing format like this.

I've seen on the web that Bleeding Cool doesn't have a great reputation.

This report remains only as a rumor, for now, but it could be great to see both Boom and Digital Eclipse benefiting from a partnership like this.
