Cool. The conspiracy theorist in me wonders if this is why Toyota ignored the UK and Europe in general in its move to the international stage. In any case, I wonder how much this move will change the franchise. Although, again, I follow the rule: until there is a trailer, it is just a rumor.

Huh. I would assume it would cost a lot more to film in the UK than New Zealand. Will definitely be more difficult to make it look like California.

I don't think they'll even try. It'll either be a brand new English PR, or a new Angel Grove moved to the northern states.
Anyway, here's a crazy theory. Britain, among other things, is associated with James Bond. What if Disney+ decided to go in order and make an adaptation of Goranger? Without footage from the original series, of course, but in the style of Anno's Shin movies with the addition of PR lore.
