Introducing The New Toei Tokusatsu Hero Forticus!
A new streaming hero comes in the summer. Voiced by same guy who does Teddy in Den-O.

Well, the links don't work for my page, so for the unlucky ones out there, I'll leave the pictures:
https://kept.com.ua/image/qI7V/Fortikus.png https://kept.com.ua/image/qI7W/Fortikus-2.png I'd also like to point out that the opening theme will be performed by MindaRyn, and the ending theme by Masami Okui and Yuki Tanaka. Overall, it looks interesting. There's a vibe of Ultraman, Kikaider, and cartoon Transformers all at once. I hope we'll get a chance to see his show. Also, the appearance of a special character for TTFC makes me wonder: 1) Is a Super Sentai revival possible on TTFC, albeit in a shortened and cheapened format? 2) Could the appearance of Forticus be a way for Toei to hedge its bets if Project Red doesn't live up to expectations? And by "fails to live up to expectations," I don't just mean a complete failure, but also, let's say, a significant audience loss and a decline in sales compared to SS. That is, even if Project Red occupies 70% of the vacated niche, Toei will still be upset about losing the remaining 30%. |
Funny how two dudes who started acting since they were kids and went on to become toku heroes in Ultraman and Kamen Rider, respectively, are co-stars in this. Love the violet-blue suit. I take it when in battle mode the visor goes down? Someone must've taken notes from Janperson and gave it their own twist when designing the suit.

I was writing this and going to say i like the body but not the head, because how the face looks like a greek/roman statue somehow.
Then realized his name is "Forticus" and that's probably the whole point. |
