Toei has launched the official website for Toei Games. First title will be revealed Friday, April 24, 2026.

I'm not a gamer, but the initiative is interesting. And the website is beautifully designed.

I'm definitely a gamer, so I hope we get something on the level of Memory of Heroez rather than more app nonsense.

Just to temper expectations, the press release mentions they'll be developing entirely new IPs.

Now they could switch to making games on their own IPs after a while. But as of right now they plan to be entirely original.

I suppose we should look at it how Toei Animation, while under the same roof, doesn't necessarily make toku-centric shows for anime. Of course, I am still hopeful they will eventually give us something adjacent to toku every once in a while, though. But for now, I'll let them do their thing.

I'd like for a new Battride War. After playing both BRW2 and Genesis, I feel like both those games hold individual strengths not present in the following or previous release.

There are thing about 2 I'm not a fan of, but I wish I had in Genesis, and vice versa. With a little bit of tweaking, they could be really fun games. In the future, I hope we can get something like that.

Much like how Tekken and 30mm model kits appeared in shows like Shinkenger and Donbrothers, I wouldn't be surprised if a video game scene in future toku shows by Toei featured the games made by this new studio to avoid IP-related stuff that happens behind the scenes.
