Saint Seiya Omega Figures to be released in S.H.Figuarts?
 

The hell?! Saint Seiya Omega Figuarts

Apparently Pegasus Koga is the only confirmed release so far but it's just really odd considering ALL of the other Saint Seiya characters were released in the Cloth Myth series.

Yeah, it is odd. When I first saw it posted in the SHF Thread, I was about to post saying to get your Saint Seya outta mah Figuarts Thread and in a Myth Cloth thread where they belong...

And then I learned it really was an SHF.

So I find it pretty darn odd that it's being released in this line. I don't know anything about Saint Seya (except that it doesn't seem like it will appeal to me), but it seems it might be from the newest series? That could explain the switch, unless some from that have already been in the other line...

Bah, I don't know. It's sure to interest Saint Seya fans, but I honestly don't care much.

That's a Figuart? The look of those elbow joints make me think it's a Figma...

Yeah it's from the newest series which I guess makes more sense in Figurats? I don't really know honestly.

Yeah man. It's all in the hips. Look at them and you'll see it's the same pull down hip joint that nearly all newer style Figuarts have.

Ah, yes it is. But I just can't get over those elbows... Ironically, they kinda remind me of the knees on the Dragon Knight Figmas. :p

Am I the only one who thinks the proportions just look hella strange?

That's just how SHF human elbows look too. All of the One Piece elbows are the same way.

Well, to be fair, it is based on an anime character as opposed to the usual Figuarts based on dudes in suits. So it should look at least a little odd.

The reason why it is in the Figuarts line rather than Cloth Myth line is because there are no object form in Saint Seiya Omega, just the cloth, so the purpose of the Cloth Myth line is defeated, and since the characters actually wears the armors like fabric, the Figuarts line can pull off the look better.

I have next to no knowledge of Saint Seiya or Cloth Myth. I've seen the portion of the original anime that was dubbed in the US but that's it. I honestly didn't know there was another series until I posted this thread :lol
