There's equal chances of that happening with few riders. Exhibit A: Wizard. I'll take a lot of one note characters to fill the time with some variety instead one or two painfully boring characters any day.

It does deserve another try, but that will never happen as long as toys is where this franchise makes its money. That set up is just not toyetic enough for today's Bandai.
