Computers can't bring a touch of realism that a human hand can. I don't mean how the animation looks, I mean the soul of it. An animator who drew a cartoon by hand put their own experience into it through the touch of their fingers. They held the pencil/inks/whatever and drew it with their own senses. Their soul was poured into it giving the work a life of its own because they were able to physically touch the work they did.

A computer can't do that because the person is not physically touching anything with his/her own hand.

I didn't mean it as an insult to animators, hell my friend does animation with his Silver Quill MLP reviews on Youtube. I just mean that the animation doesn't feel the same when it is done by computer because it is soulless. Just look at the differences between Sailor Moon and Crystal.
