Boy, I really really really gotta push back on this interpretation. So much of the Kagerou/Daiji story is about how Kagerou comes from Daiji, and that viewing Kagerou as somehow separate from (and independent of) Daiji risks misdiagnosing Daiji's emotional issues. That's why things are real bad right now! Because Daiji's like I Defeated Kagerou, when Kagerou was only ever a manifestation of Daiji's deep-seated resentment and jealousy! So Daiji is unprepared for another descent into rage-filled judgment of Ikki!
