Kaiju with Rainbow powers? Barugon? Is that you?

I'm not sure why, but I'm reminded of the Jirass Episode from the Original Ultraman with this episode's premise. Maybe it's the cooky scientist summoning a Kaiju, maybe there's something in Nijikadachi's design, I don't know.

Still, an enjoyable episode, and an interesting Kaiju attached to it. I like how it's setting up some background for Gento, and mythology Kaiju are always fun to play around with.

Still funny how Earth Garon gets an upgrade before Blazar, but I'm fine without any, since Blazar already looks perfect, though I'm sure he'll get one later down the line, but if not, I'm enjoying this back-to-basics approach with him.
